With a win over the 9-4 Cincinnati Bengals this weekend at Qualcomm, the San Diego Chargers Can clinch the division.
It will be a tough match-up at home and with the recent passing of Bengal’s receiver, Chris Henry, it is tough to say how the Bengals are feeling emotionally.
It will surely be an emotional game for both teams and a gritty match. With the Bengals featuring a running game with Cedric Benson and old San Diego foe Larry Johnson at the ready, the Chargers are expecting Cincinnati to stay on the ground.
That not only keeps the Chargers’ potent offense on the sidelines, but it also attacks San Diego’s biggest weakness.
The Chargers are ranked No. 21 against the run, an area they have had trouble shoring up since losing Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jamal Williams in the season-opener.
